Get Test IMX Tokens from the Immutable zkEVM Faucet

To deploy contracts and send transactions on the Immutable zkEVM Testnet, you'll need Test IMX Tokens ($tIMX).

This guide will cover the purpose of Test IMX tokens and how you can get access to them.

💡WHO IS THIS FOR?
Developers sending transactions and deploying contracts on the Immutable zkEVM Testnet.

Why is it useful to have Test IMX tokens?

Developers building on Immutable zkEVM may require Test IMX in order to:

  • Conduct thorough testing and experimentation without using real funds or affecting the main network.
  • Validate the functionality and performance of their applications before deploying them on the live network.
  • Interact with the platform's smart contracts and APIs in a controlled environment.
  • Collaborate with other developers by simulating real world scenarios and sharing testnet tokens for integration testing.
  • Familiarise themselves with the platform's features and capabilities while minimising potential risks.

Where do I get Test IMX tokens?

Test IMX Tokens are available from the Immutable zkEVM Faucet.

Wallet address

To use the Faucet to load your wallet with Test-IMX tokens, follow these steps:

  1. Set up your blockchain wallet (see instructions).
  2. Visit the Immutable zkEVM Faucet.
  3. Click the "Login" button or the "Please sign up or login to the Immutable Hub" hyperlink and follow the on-screen instructions to log in.
  4. Once logged in, enter your wallet address and click the "Send $tIMX" button.
  5. Please wait. It might take up to 1 minute for the $tIMX to arrive in your wallet.
💡THE FAUCET IS RATE LIMITED
Each developer account on the Immutable Hub is only able to get 10 $tIMX once every 24 hours.

Please note, the Test-IMX token has no real-world value and is not intended to be used outside of the testnet version of Immutable zkEVM. You acknowledge and agree that Test-IMX tokens are provided for the sole purpose of testing on the testnet version of Immutable zkEVM. The Test-IMX token is provided 'AS IS', without any representations or warranties of any kind and no party involved in the development or distribution of Test-IMX tokens, including their affiliates, directors, employees, contractors or agents accepts any responsibility or liability to you or any third party relating to your use of Test-IMX tokens.
